This powerful artwork is inspired by the verse from the Book of Jeremiah (31:16-17): 'Restrain your voice from weeping ... your children shall return to their own border.' This piece was first created for the family of Gilad Shalit and is currently displayed in the synagogue at Mitzpe Hila.The second version of this artwork was crafted in honor of the abductees from October 7, 2024. The imagery and inscription in this piece serve as a poignant reminder of hope, resilience, and the deep yearning for the safe return of loved ones. By embedding this scriptural promise within the artwork, it aims to offer comfort and reinforce faith in the eventual reunion and restoration of families.
